[In processing the collection a badly eaten plat of the path of a proposed Eastern Shore Railroad (original) was found. It was subsequently determined that it was the original pen and ink plat for a printed map in the collections of the Library of Congress, Geography and Map Division). For imaging, the Archives Conservation department pieced the remains of the plat back together. In this pdf the Library of Congress Copy of the printed version is presented with the remains of the pen and ink plat for comparison purposes.
